If you're looking for a new place to visit and dine with your family, there's this hidden gem in Tagaytay dubbed as it's little Santorini.
"La Bella Tagaytay is the destination du jour and a health and wellness haven located at Barangay Neogan, Tagaytay City. La Bella is a mixed-use development, which integrates lifestyle with infrastructure. This brings balance and harmony to the lives of the residents, allowing them to live their lives to the fullest. It focuses on developing a community where residents may enjoy privacy, convenience, and entertainment right in their own sanctuary. The first of its kind development in the country, it features a holistic village, fully furnished affordable condominium units, health and wellness centers, and leisure living." - From La Bella's website.
All the structure within the premises of La Bella has an all-white feature just like the famous Santorini island. Trees surrounded the property which keeps the breeze cool. Since it is a bit far from the busy Tagaytay road, all you can hear are the sound of the wind and birds.
The entire place is definitely instagram-worthy. It has several little corners where you can take your family photos or OOTDs.
For this visit, we were there to try their restaurants. There are two dining options inside La Bella - Bodhi Library & Cafe and El Cucinero. We visited and tried both!
We arrived in the morning and had our breakfast at Bodhi Library and Cafe. They offer panini, sandwiches, waffles, coffee and hot chocolate. Menu is limited because this is not a full-blown restaurant. Their hot chocolate was delicious!
This cafe has a small collection of children's books, yoga and natural healing reference materials. And since my daughter loves to read, we stayed here for a couple of hours just because she wanted to lounge and read all the books.
You can also opt to stay upstairs and enjoy the cool Tagaytay breeze while sipping your hot chocolate or coffee.
As I mentioned, this place is Instagram-worthy so we can't help but take poses everywhere.
For lunch, we ate at El Cucinero which is just a few meters from Bodhi. Their Paella is a MUST TRY! We ordered the seafood paella partnered with their sangria wine.
We noticed an ongoing construction of other restaurants in the area and I'm looking forward to visiting again soon... and maybe stay overnight too.
